5 potential candidates to replace Steve Addazio at Boston College
The long-awaited rematch of the AFC Championship Game and a battle between the NFC’s top two teams highlight the must-watch action of Week 14.
The NFL season is coming down the stretch and we have only four weeks to go. The stakes are only getting bigger, and each game comes with a greater importance than the one played just a week prior.
That is certainly the case in Week 14, which features a trio of must-see matchups with playoff implications galore. Let’s start in Buffalo as the Bills welcome the AFC’s current top seed, the Baltimore Ravens, to town for a huge showdown.
Baltimore Ravens (10-2) at Buffalo Bills (9-3)
Lamar Jackson may well be the NFL’s MVP after his latest dynamic performance to help Baltimore top the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. The Ravens will look to solidify their grip on the AFC’s top seed when they travel to Buffalo to take on a 9-3 Bills team that picked up its best win of the season by beating up the Cowboys in Dallas on Thanksgiving.
San Francisco 49ers (10-2) at New Orleans Saints (10-2)
This game needs to be circled on the calendar since it will likely determine home field throughout the NFC playoffs. The 49ers are coming to this one fresh off a loss in Baltimore while the Saints do have a two-game winning streak, but they have looked far from impressive ever since Drew Brees returned from his thumb injury.
Kansas City Chiefs (8-4) at New England Patriots (10-2)
The AFC Championship rematch is finally here, and both teams enter it much different than the way they looked at Arrowhead Stadium back in January. Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs have righted the ship, winning two straight to secure control of the AFC West, while the Patriots are struggling mightily on offense, which could be a problem for them against the high-octane Kansas City offense.
